Martin,
The OCI driver has a native DLL element to it, you need to find where it lives and then add that dir to your Window > Prefs > MyEclipse > App Server > Oracle 9 > Paths > “Append to Library Path” settings so the driver can find it when run from ME.The problem is that you are adding dirs to your library path that contain a space in the path name (notice how it thinks the class name is Filesoracleetc.etc.?). The workaround for now is to reinstall to a directory withour spaces, we have fixed this in 4.0 M3 which will be out within a week, so the alternative is to wait for that release.

I’m still getting the following error message. “Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database!”
The detail exception is as follow
“Hibernate operation: Cannot open connection; uncategorized SQLException for SQL [???]; SQL state [null]; error code [0]; Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database!; nested exception is java.sql.SQLException: Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database!”
ApplicationContext.xml

Using an Oracle Instant Client requires prefixing the PATH system variable with that home directory. This implies the use of setup scripts to adjust the PATH if more than one Oracle Instant Client will be in use. The Database Advanced preferences control which Oracle client and JDBC driver (OCI/Thick or Thin) will be used. Sjan.spw Joined: 07:02:37 Messages: 8 Offline: Hi, I removed the ojdbc6 and added ojdbc7. Now I got no ocijdbc12 in java.library.path. Under Oracle Java, only a single version of the JRE can be installed at a time. See Installing the JRE on macOS. To access the Java Control Panel, in the System Preferences panel, click the Java icon. If you don’t see the Java icon in the System Preferences, in the Other section, then you do not have an Oracle JRE installed.
